Contributions may be in English or in Bahasa Malaysia. Papers in Bahasa Malaysia should be accompanied by an abstract in English. All papers will be refereed. Manuscript submitted to the journal for publication should be original contribution and must not have been previously published or is under consideration simultaneously by any other publication.
It is the author’s responsibility to ensure that the submitted work does not infringe any existing copyright. Authors should obtain permission to reproduce or adapt copyrighted materials and provide evidence of approval upon submitting the final version of a manuscript.
Manuscripts will be reviewed by the Editorial Board and at least one independent referee. Decisions regarding the publication of a manuscript will be based on the recommendations of the Board. The manuscript will be evaluated based on its appropriateness for the journal, contribution to the discipline, cogency of analysis, conceptual breadth, clarity of presentation and technical adequacy.
One set of proofs will be sent to the authors to be checked for errors, and it is the responsibility of the authors to submit corrections to the Editorial Board before the publication of the manuscript.
The manuscript should be neatly typewritten in single-column format of A4 size paper, with single spacing and a wide margin. The title page should contain title, author(s) address(es)and abstract. All pages should be numbered. Word template is available for this journal.
All submissions should be made online. New users should first create an account. Manuscripts should be submitted in Word or pdf format.
The paper should not exceed 15 pages A4 size paper and for research note it should not exceed 5 pages including tables and figures.
The title should be brief and such that it conveys to the informed readers the particular nature of the contents of the paper. An abstract must indicate the scope of the research and principal findings. Abstract for the paper should not exceed 150 words and for research note it should be less than 50 words.
The figures should be number and labelled as Figure n where n is a number starting from 1. If figures have more than one part, each part should be labelled (a), (b), etc.
Table should be numbered as Table (n) where n is a number starting from 1.
As far as possible, footnotes should be avoided.
In the text, reference to other parts of the paper should be made by section (or equation) number, not by page number. References to other papers should be consecutively numbered in the text and should be listed by numbers at the end of the paper. The references should be as complete as possible and be presented as follows:
